The Guest House

Dall Lodge is an old Victorian country house offering excellent Bed & Breakfast accommodation. Located in the heart of Scotland and being surrounded by beautiful scenery of both Highlands and Lowlands.

Because of its central location Dall Lodge is the perfect base from which to explore wide areas of Scotland. Our Guest House offers 10 en suite rooms including singles, doubles, twins and one family room.
The rooms are traditionally decorated to a very high standard and offer wonderfull wonderful views to the so called Munros around Ben Lawer, the adjacent park and the colorful garden at the backside of the house.

All rooms are equipped with free Internet via Wifi, a TV with DVD player and facilities to have tea or coffee.

CORONA VIRUS UPDATE

We will only be open if it is safe enough to do so (and of course advised by the government).

We will have safety measurements in place and we ask all our guests to obey the rules we have. We keep the right to expel people from our property if they endanger the wellbeing of our guests.

During the duration of the pandemic things will sadly run a bit differently than normal. Personal face time will be cut to a minimum, the guest lounge will stay closed, breakfast times will be staggered to ensure social distancing and room tidies will be reduced during multiple night stays.

But cleaning between stays will be much more work and each room will undergo an extensive deep-clean in-between guests, including disinfecting the mattress and changing pillows.

The Breakfast

Enjoy a traditional, freshly made "Full Scottish Breakfast" with award winning meat products from Comrie Butchers and free range eggs coming from a local organic farm. For meatlovers we serve the scottish national dish Haggis, and the traditional english Black Pudding aswell as a selection of sausages and bacon. For a lighter breakfast experience -or just as a starter - we make our special porridge, which stays in the oven over night to slowly simmer to perfection.

Vegetarians and Vegans welcome!
We offer a variety of suitable vegetarian and vegan options such as cheese on toast, eggy bread and homemade hummus as well as baked tomatos, mushrooms and the famous Heinz Baked Beans.

That is, if you are still hungry enough for all these goodies after having fresh juices, freshly cut fruit, homemade yoghurt and home baked bread from our buffet!

Nobody will leave the house hungry!

Shared Space

Enjoy our delicious breakfast in our elegant, victorian breakfast room with stunning views of the river Lochay, the heights of the Tarmachan Ridge and Ben Lawers, the highest Munro in Central Scotland.

Do you want to relax with a nice glass of wine or a cup of tea and get together with friends and family after exploring the region? Play a game of chess or read a book in comfort? Feel free to use our spacious conservatory as a guest lounge, it has a wonderful atmosphere!

For sunny days you can walk across the street to sit down in our rivergarden to enjoy nature or even to fish. We hand out a free licence for trout fishing to all our guests.
Tours with our local ghillie to discover the wildlife of Loch Tay or to fish out on the water start directly in the rivergarden.
